Senior Vice President Engineering & Construction

Clint Cook is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Texas with over 20 years of experience in the land surveying, design, development, and construction industry, the last 8 years of which in the wind industry.  

Cook graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in December 1999.  Prior to graduation, Cook worked with the Texas Department of Transportation’s Engineering Division providing pre-construction design support, site surveying, and QA/QC of construction on multiple highway and bridge projects. He also served as a Commissioned Officer in the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering for the Indian Health Service within the Department of Health and Human Services. There, he provided water and wastewater consultation on design, construction, and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment systems to American Indians and Alaska Natives.

After leaving Texas Tech, Cook stepped into various Project Manager and Design Engineer positions within the civil engineering and land surveying consulting fields. In these roles Cook was actively involved in all phases of planning, surveying, engineering, design, and construction of transportation, land development, and municipal infrastructure projects. These projects included state highways and bridges—including full hydrology and hydraulics design, private residential and commercial developments, public institutional developments, and major water lines, drainage systems for both waste water and storm water runoff, and waste water treatment systems.

Prior to founding Aegean Energy Group, Cook served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Cielo Wind Services, where he was responsible for the management and implementation of all project design, surveying, and interconnection activities for their development and construction services, totaling 1.3 GW in size.
